Position Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented, fast-paced Vocational Evaluator (VE) to manage and conduct in-person vocational evaluations. This independent contractor role offers flexibility and autonomy while requiring a high level of professionalism, integrity, and strong communication skills.

As a VE, you’ll:

  • Meet with clients in person to conduct vocational evaluations.

  • Prepare clear, professionally written reports within required timeframes.

  • Review, approve, and sign off on evaluations completed by Vocational Evaluator Assistants.

  • Maintain confidentiality, high ethical standards, and excellent customer service.

  • Communicate effectively with clients, referring professionals, and internal team members.

What We’re Looking For
The ideal candidate is dependable, detail-oriented, and capable of working independently. Strong writing skills, time management, and the ability to maintain a professional demeanor in all interactions are essential.

Qualifications
Candidates must meet at least one of the following criteria:

  • Certification: Current credential from one of the following:

  • Registry of Professional Vocational Evaluators (PVE)

  • Certified Vocational Evaluation Specialist (CVE)

  • American Board of Vocational Experts Diplomat (ABVE/D) or Fellow (ABVE/F)

  • International Psychometric Evaluation Certification (IPEC)

  • Vocational Evaluator Certificate from a nationally accredited college or university

  • OR

  • Education: Master’s degree in vocational evaluation

OR

  • Related Experience:

  • Master’s degree in rehabilitation counseling, rehabilitation services, social work (clinical), mental health counseling, or clinical psychology

  • At least one year of full-time experience using vocational rehabilitation counseling techniques

  • At least one year of full-time experience conducting vocational evaluations

  • Compensation

  • This is a contractor position paid per completed report.

  • You will earn 60% of the report fee—keeping the majority of the revenue for your expertise.

Additional Requirements

  • Level 2 Background Screening required.
